Terms and Conditions<\/h1>\n

  1. Terms & conditions <\/li>\n
  2. While we attempt to remove all existing render with a full strip off and re-render, this is at the\ndiscretion of the contract manager and our installation crews as it may not be reasonably\npracticable to remove every bit of the existing render especially where removal could cause\nadditional damage to the brick facings or even the structure of the building. In the removal and\nre-render of a property we are simply looking for a suitable substrate to apply the new render\nand provide a level finish.<\/li>\n
  3. Our standard payment terms unless otherwise agreed are; 35% deposit payable on order, 50%\ninterim payment upon completion of repairs and prep work (prior to coating) and then final 15%\nupon completion. <\/li>\n
  4. Client will provide to free of charge all necessary power and water, if required <\/li>\n
  5. Start dates - We try our very best to adhere to the start dates that we provide, however we are\ndependent upon the weather and this is out of our control. If we are delayed on a contract, then\nthis could influence contracts due to be started afterwards. If a delay was to occur, we ask that\ncommon sense and patience be kindly applied as we will start as soon as practicable. <\/li>\n
  6. We will not be held liable for liquidated and ascertained damages or late completion penalties or\ndiscounts. <\/li>\n
  7. The Smooth texture will either be roller or spray applied in accordance with manufacturer's\ninstructions <\/li>\n
  8. With a patch and repair, prime and spray coat, it should be noted that while every attempt is\nmade to improve the texture and level finish, we are still reliant on the existing render, so\nundulations and slight imperfections are sometimes unavoidable. <\/li>\n
  9. All materials supplied, and work carried out is deemed the full ownership of our company until\nthe contract sum is paid in full. <\/li>\n
  10. We reserve the right to charge any late payments with a fee of 7% interest of the outstanding\nbalance per week until payment is made. <\/li>\n
  11. It should be noted that any sample cards provided are for illustrative purposes only and\nindicative of what a texture could look like. However, sample cards show the product applied to\na smooth piece of plastic, whereas the actual product will obviously be applied to a masonry\nfinish. <\/li>\n
  12. The colour applied many appear different from the sample colour chart dependent upon the\ntexture chosen.<\/li>\n
  13. Our Contractors Written Guarantee is available upon request. <\/li>\n
  14. The Insurance Backed Guarantee replaces our Contractors Written Guarantee in the unlikely\nevent that our company ceased trading which provides continuous cover for the client. We will\nbe happy to provide a cost for the Insurance backed guarantee upon request. <\/li>\n
  15. If you choose our Marketing discount or Promotional home offer, we request that we have your\npermission to use before and after photographs of your property, place an advertising board\noutside your home during the works and can use you as a reference if asked. <\/li>\n
  16. Our standard rates are valid for 3 months; however, we offer an early booking or first\nappointment discount for orders placed within 7 days of the quotation date. This discount\nreflects administrative savings within our company if the enquiry can be surveyed, quoted and\nbooked in using one salesperson. This system also assists us with cash-flow, work continuity and\nsaves second appointment visits. <\/li>\n
  17. The Company shall GUARANTEE for a period of 15 years, the materials from the date of\ncompletion of application of the application that, in the event of any chipping, flaking, peeling\nand penetrating damp, then the Company shall, upon production of the Contract, specifications\nand this certificate of Guarantee, inspect those areas at a mutually convenient time carry out\nwithout charge such re-coating as may be necessary providing that: <\/li>\n
  18. The material has been applied to one of the following surfaces: concrete, brick, cement\nrendering, pebbledash, stone or stucco & masonry paint <\/li>\n
  19. The damage has not been caused by failure of the surface to which the material has been\napplied or by any chemical efflorescence from such surface. <\/li>\n
  20. The material has not been subjected to any physical or mechanical damage after application. <\/li>\n
  21. This Guarantee is conditional upon the holder allowing our Company (or our appointed\nrepresentative) to inspect the property at five and ten-year intervals. It is the holder\u2019s\nresponsibility to arrange the inspection 4 weeks prior to each inspection interval <\/li>\n
  22. The client shall retain any pre-existing rights by common law or by statue not with-standing the\nterm of this Certificate of Guarantee, which shall be regarded as in addition to and in diminution\nof such rights. <\/li>\n
  23. The Guarantee is transferable to any new owner or the property in question within the\nguarantee period providing notice of transfer of Guarantee is given within one month of\ncompletion of any sale. <\/li>\n
  24. Any claim under this Guarantee must be made in writing to the Company within 14 days of any\ndefects becoming apparent. <\/li>\n
  25. Because of how they are constructed; Garden walls, chimneys, balustrades, pool walls, garages\nand any additional out-houses are not covered under this Guarantee.<\/li>\n
  26. As with all rendering and coating works occasionally light shadowing and minor undulation in\ncertain lights can sometimes be visible. <\/li>\n
  27. We reserve the right to cancel or withdraw from any contract in relation to a patch and repair\noption, if on inspection this is not viable due to the extent of loose render. Any deposits will be\nreturned. <\/li>\n
  28. We try our very best to adhere to the start dates we provide; however, we are dependent upon\nthe weather and this is out of our control. If we are delayed on a contract, then this could\ninfluence contracts due to be started afterwards. If a delay was to occur, we ask that common\nsense and patience be kindly applied as we will start as soon as practicable. <\/li>\n
  29. We cannot be held responsible for third-party scaffolding installations, we will endeavour to\nmake sure they are erected and dismantled on time, but no guarantee can be given or implied\nregarding the scaffolding erection and dismantling that this coincides with the project of works <\/li>\n
  30. Please note that the colour illustrated in the Wethertex booklet is not a true representation of\nthe actual colour as this is a photograph of a swatch. We do have a colour swatch card which\ngives a much more realistic idea of the true colour, please request one of these when making\nyour final choice if you are in doubt. <\/li>\n
  31. Deposits are taken on a nonrefundable basis. If we cancel the contract, we will return the\ndeposit, however if a client cancels the contract then we reserve the right to not pay back the\ndeposit. This is cover lost admin time as well as materials which may have been purchased or\ndeposits, we may have paid on the hire of access equipment. <\/li>\n
  32. Note relating to areas with there is cladding, tiles or wood. These will be inspected by the\ninstallation team on commencement of works and we reserve the right to either remove or not\nremove these cladding finishes of tiles UPVC, wood etc. and carry out works which may mean\nnone removal. These areas may be over boarded with render board and the like and then after\nwhich our standard two coat render system with meshing will be applied. Where we have\nincluded to remove any cladding, tiles or wood and install render board this is under the\nassumption that the structural stud work beneath is in good order. If the stud work requires\nremediation work, this may be an extra cost depending on the extent of damage. <\/li>\n
  33. Access equipment. Unless stated, to keep the costs down we have assumed that all works can\nbe carried out using our own mobile scaffold towers, ladders or other temporary access\nequipment. If we have to hire in or use fixed (tied in) scaffolding then we will advise on any\nadditional costs prior to works commencing.<\/li>\n <\/ol>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n
